Promotion for ECCC - Elmley Castle Cricket Club first team have won Division 1 of the Cotswold Hills League and earned promotion to the
Premier Division.
Post Office Closure Shock - Despite indications that our village post office is the type they want to encourage, the Post Office has announced
the proposed replacement of our Village Hall based facility with a mobile service visiting us just 90 minutes a week.
We now enter a public consultation period until 7th October. Click here for more information.
Parish Plan - all completed questionnaires are now back and are being analysed. We hope to publish the findings soon.
Elmley Stores - NOW OPEN! Our new village store is now open in the Village Hall. Opening times are 8.00am to 12noon
Monday to Friday and 7.30pm to 9.00pm Sunday evening.
Trees - There has been some concern expressed recently about tree cutting and felling. Click here for more clarification on the rules.

Queen Elizabeth Latest - New owner Peter Scully has started work on refurbishment with the aim of reopening as a pub and restaurant
later this year.
The next full meeting of the Parish Council is due to take place on Thursday, 4th September 2008 at 7.30 pm.
All Parish Council meetings take place in the Village Hall.
