Elmley Castle, Bricklehampton and Netherton Heating Oil Buying Group

The dates for 2011 are shown in the table to the right.

I'm delighted to report that as at February 2010, our first anniversary, we have 22 members of the group.  Eveson's has kindly sent a cheque for £80 to The Friends of St Mary's, Elmley Castle.  We continue to grow at the rate of one or two new members each month, so we should be able to double the amount we earn for 'The Friends' at the end of this year.  Thanks for your support! 

Evesons Fuels Limited has agreed to supply ‘group deliveries’ of heating oil to Elmley Castle, Bricklehampton and Netherton residents.  The scheme provides oil at preferential competitive rates and will reduce the number of tankers entering the village. 


Evesons will make a contribution to The Friends of St. Mary’s Church, Elmley Castle to help maintain and improve the fabric of the building.  This amount is linked to the volume we buy!

A tanker will be in the village on the second Wednesday in each month (see the Delivery Schedule in the panel).  You can join the group scheme by:


Planned Delivery Scheme.  Agree a regular monthly payment by Direct Debit and Evesons will regularly top up your tank.  Take away the hassle of checking the oil level in your tank and avoid one-off large bills.  To join the Planned Delivery Scheme call 01905 775920 and quote ‘Elmley Castle Buying Group’.


OR


‘Spot’ buying.  Call 01905 775920 by 5pm on the Monday preceding a schedule delivery and quote ‘Elmley Castle Buying Group’. Evesons will confirm the preferential rate.  If you’re happy with that, you’ll be added to the delivery.  Payment must be made by cheque or card (credit cards incur a 2% charge) within 15 days of delivery.

Note:  The Scheme does not guarantee the cheapest price, but should give a consistently competitive price over time.

The Friends of St.Mary’s Church, Elmley Castle is a registered Charity.  Its purpose is to help maintain and improve the fabric of the building.  Evesons will donate 0.2p per litre, i.e. £2 for a typical delivery of 1,000 litres.  We should be able to raise a few hundred pounds!
