A Plan for our Parishes
The Parish Plan is funded by the Elmley Castle, Bricklehampton and Netherton Parish Council and by DEFRA The purpose of the plan is to:
A questionnaire was issued during 2008; results of the questionnaire. Outcomes and Actions from the QuestionnaireActions and outcomes from the parish plan questionnaire will be published in due course. Overview of the ParishEncompassing approximately 277 households with 712 people and an estimated 520 cars, the parish of Elmley Castle, Bricklehampton and Netherton includes a conservation area, 24 listed buildings and ancient monuments, one Site of Special Scientific Interest, many miles of public footpaths and bridleways and a significant part of the Bredon Hill Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). It has a school of 85 pupils, a pub which is currently closed but scheduled for re-opening in 2009, a community hall and a sizable recreation ground, including a play area equipped for small children. |
