The Queen Elizabeth public house stands in the centre of Elmley Castle at the end of Main Street.  The name comes from the visit of Elizabeth I to the village in August, 1575.

The public house has had a recent chequered history, being closed for some time.  However, a new licensee has recently taken over and the bar is now open every day from 11am to 11pm.  There is also a restaurant serving lunch and dinner.

Booking is advisable for the restaurant.  Contact telephone number is 01386 710419.
